Usually romance anime are absolute abominations that goes on
for hundreds upon
hundreds of chapters with no progress whatsoever. However, with
this adaptation, you get a complete story in a single cour
and no boring repetition either. It's kept relatively fresh
Dropped
It was nowhere near as fun as S1. It immediately went into a
really weird plot dump that was
very fast, very confusing and nowhere near as fun as S1. On top
of that, it went into a huge hiatus and took a few seasons to
come back and it just wasn't worth bothering with!
Cute mix of action and slice of life, with both actually
getting mixed together, that actually did it well both ways
Nagatoro is getting a lot less mean and more dere in this season with the romance starting to intensify
A bit less fun than season 1 somehow, and apparently, it's not
the anime's fault, but the light novel's fault. Season 1 had
fantastic pacing, with Maple keeping discovering new crazy
powers ever, with the games events being nicely paced too. The
pacing is... less golden this season. It's really hard to put
the finger on what went wrong, but it just simply wasn't as
good, but it still was plenty nice
Studio Orange does it again with some of the best 3DCG you can
get on seasonal anime. This is a retelling of Trigun of some
sort, I forget the detail I've been told unfortunately.
Ultimately a decent "roadtrip" anime, but I expected more out of
Studio Orange, as what they've done previously were AOTS, if not
AOTY material. This falls quite short of that.
A rough recommendation, at least, at first. It's one of those
shows you actually really gotta let it time to get started, and
unfortunately, that time is almost the entire season. The show
takes its time to introduce each characters, you're going to
keep wondering where this is going, is this actually going
anywhere, are they ever going to do spy stuff. They end up
joining a mission and being almost entirely useless, making you
even more unsure about the show. However, around the end of the
season, the episodes are starting to get more and more good,
also they finally get a small arc at the end where they actually
do spy stuff, and it's really good! Not just that, but S2 is
fantastic from beginning to end. A show you really gotta give a
long,
long chance for it to pay off.
The Mushoku Tensei studio put their A team on this, to great success. It's really odd to say, but as much as this can be lewd, this is extremely wholesome. The first few episodes with very little characters has this chill silent tranquility to it, which is great because, as I usually say, a lot of these shows aren't great until the main cast is fully presented. Sadly, that period doesn't last long, but the good news is that the rest is as great as the beginning.
More of the same and starts rather interesting. No S1 rewatch
needed as there's a soft reintroduction that's not too annoying.
It manages to avoid what was the worst about the last arc of S1
I think. If you liked S1 enough, you'll like this.
Start pretty great, never really becomes bad, but somehow my
interest waned.
Quite decent, but I eventually got to be tired with all of the
drama and assholes characters in S2, it ends up being quite
exhauting that way.
Cute anime for once that's not an isekai. The gimmick is
actually kind of fresh and is played relatively well. It's
actually a complete adaptation.
Decent anime, pretty average, but nothing all that bad to say
about it either. It's related to a mobile game or something and
serves as some sort of prologue.
More of this, more crazy characters, as hilarious as ever.
The final cour of the Ash saga as he goes home after becoming a
Pokémon Master. After having not watching this for decades, it's
still actually pretty good. In this single cour they managed to
have different episodes plots, reintroduce old characters and
Pokémon for good nostalgia and managed to have a pretty great
final arc because the final episode where Ash goes home. The
finale was a bit disappointing, but that ending was completely
expected.
More Precure, but with a super hero theme. Not bad, but I
always manage to get late and I have to drop it. There's a
certain set of episodes set in the Sky World that actually
really ruled. If at least all of it ruled just as much.

Bruh
Love Live Nijigasaki shorts based on the Nijiyon comic, but
with Yuu this time.
Too short to really say anything about it, I really wish it was
longer than 3 mins.
I don't care about Soccer in the slightest, but this managed to introduce a mix of elimination game along with psychological elements that made this really goddamn rule.
Wasn't bad but the arcs took much longer and started to take
way too long for the funny chunnibyou bullshit payoff to
actually appear. Probably better watched in arcs per arcs.
Apparently S2 is better?
You can actually watch this then the original movies and not be
lost in term of who is who. It apparently sped through the
beginning to introduce as much characters as possible. The art
is pretty fantastic for this sort of anime, a mix of old school
drawing and new effects, which looks really good. Official subs
went with some older terms in the subs without actually going
overboard and outright introducing loads of made up shit.
Both hype and disappointing in a way. A big exam arc, and it
has battles. You actually get to know some of the class'
characters that barely got any focus until then, with even a
significant focus on them. Unfortunately the worst part was
about Iruma himself, however I can't complain too much because
the whole thing ended up being a lot like... Well, it's a lot
like this show really.
Cute little show that actually manages to impressed a bit once
you actually give it a chance. The small arcs are anything other
than generic to say the least.
Part 1 of the Shingeki no Kyojin final finale
Got to watch the 8 short episodes presented by Avex Picture
(Probably?) at the Otakuthon. It's by Tatsunoko Production,
which used to handle the Pretty series, so fan of that might
like this... Except it's Pole Dancing. That sure raised many
eyebrows when this was announced, but according to a Japanese
user on the fediverse, Pole Dancing is actually a popular
exercise in Japan/Asia, and actually, the shorts themselves do
actually have a character comment on how it's perceived in the
west. Actually not ecchi at all except the dances can be a
little... yeah. This was weird, but if you like the
aforementioned idol shows (Pretty series), you'll love this
#3 Fumetsu no Anata e Season 2
Season 2 ups the ante with some absolutely amazingly and
extremely likable characters that are multifaceted like
Bonchien. Everything intensifies from S1 for the better. I found
the prison island arc in S1 to be a tad long but I was basically
watching this the minute it came out.
Part 2 of the fourth season of Danmachi. Bell and his friends
continues fighting in the dungeon that's actually currently
fighting back. It might seem a bit long, but it's actually a
breath of fresh air seeing characters in a fantasy with video
games elements (almost isekai-ish) actually face danger of this
level, and for this long. Bell and his friend are constantly on
the brink of death while the rest of the crew are also fighting
for their lives. Absolutely thrilling from beginning to end.
Immediately impresses and immediately feel different from most
isekai. Unfortunately it immediately promises battles, and
they're only far and few between during the season, however the
battles that actually happens are fantastic including an
absolutely godly episode. Anisphia is actually a fun and
interesting main character, and so is the rest of the main cast.
A must watch.
